Customer Service Agreement

This Customer Master Service Agreement ("Agreement") governs all services provided by Jesluv Home Services to its customers. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Parties

This Agreement is between Jesluv Home Services ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a registered business operating in Ontario, Canada, and the individual or entity ("Customer", "you", "your") who engages our services. Our contact details are:

2. Services Offered

We provide the following home and property services in the Niagara Region. Each service is subject to the applicable Service Addendum, the terms of which are incorporated into this Agreement:

We do not perform major electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, or structural work. Advanced auto repairs are referred to certified shops. Services are available within our designated service area: St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and surrounding communities.

3. Booking & Scheduling

  • Services must be booked in advance. We recommend 24โ€“48 hours' notice; same-day or next-day service may be available for urgent requests subject to availability.
  • Operating hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM. Limited Sunday service is available by appointment only.
  • We will confirm your booking within 1โ€“2 hours during business hours, or within 12 hours for after-hours requests.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee of up to one hour of the applicable service rate.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable HST/GST.
  • A written quote will be provided before work begins. The Company will not perform services beyond the agreed scope without prior Customer approval.
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing for larger jobs.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, e-transfer, and credit card.
  • Overdue invoices are subject to interest at a rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.

Approximate Rates (subject to change)

Cleaning: $30โ€“$40/hr per cleaner

Deep / move cleaning: $120โ€“$250

Lawn care: $40โ€“$80 per visit

Handyman: $50โ€“$75/hr (min. $80)

Moving help: $60โ€“$100/hr

Small pickups / errands: $40โ€“$80/trip

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to the property and work areas at the scheduled time.
  • Disclose any hazards, fragile items, pets, or special conditions before work begins.
  • Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present or reachable during service, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Secure or remove valuables, fragile items, and irreplaceable belongings prior to our arrival.
  • All payments are to be made through the Company โ€” direct payments to team members are not permitted.

6. Quality Guarantee & Complaints

We stand behind our work. If you are unsatisfied with any service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion (or within the timeframe specified in the applicable Service Addendum). We will investigate and, where warranted, re-perform the affected work at no additional charge. Complaints received after the applicable window may not qualify for a remedy.

7. Liability & Insurance

  • Jesluv Home Services carries insurance coverage for all services performed.
  • Our liability for damage caused by negligence is limited to the lesser of the cost to repair/replace the damaged item or the total amount paid for the service.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from the Customer's failure to disclose relevant conditions.
  • We are not responsible for items of extraordinary value (antiques, jewelry, art, collectibles) unless a specific written arrangement has been made in advance.
  • In no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

We collect and use personal information (name, address, contact details, payment information) solely to provide our services and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to deliver the service (e.g., payment processors) or as required by law. We comply with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA.

9. Non-Solicitation

Customers agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any Jesluv Home Services team member for personal or business purposes, bypassing the Company, during the term of this Agreement and for 12 months following the last service date. Violation of this clause may result in a referral fee equivalent to 20% of the first year's estimated earnings of the recruited team member.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service arrangement with 7 days' written notice. The Company reserves the right to terminate service immediately and without notice in cases of unsafe working conditions, abusive behaviour toward team members, non-payment, or material breach of this Agreement. Outstanding balances remain due upon termination.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or Small Claims Court in the Niagara Region, Ontario, at the Company's discretion.

12. Amendments

Jesluv Home Services reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website at www.jesluvhomeservices.com/service-agreement. Continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

13. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with any applicable Service Addenda and written quotes provided to the Customer, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the services and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, or agreements.
